By Bus
Most bus services terminate in Dublin City Centre. Visit www.dublinbus.ie for route details and termini of bus routes. It is about a 15-minute walk from O’Connell Bridge to Coleraine House. The most direct route is to walk in westbound along the quays of the Liffey to the Four Courts on Inns Quay, then walk northbound along Church Street following the directions below.

By Train / DART/ Luas / Walking / Bicycle
If you are arriving by train at either Heuston or Connolly train Station, or you are anywhere along the Luas (Red Line) take the tram to the Four Courts stop on Chancery Street. (For more information on routes and timetables visit www.luas.ie) Alternatively you can take the DART or Commuter Train Services to Connolly Train Station and then take the Luas (Red Line) to the Four Courts Stop. (For information on train services see www.irishrail.ie)

Alight at the Four Courts stop and depending on whether you are coming from Heuston (Tallaght) or Connolly train Station walk west along Chancery Street towards Bridewell Garda Station (a sky blue building). At this stage the Bridewell should be on your right and the back of the Four Courts on left. Turn right at the Bridewell Garda Station onto Church Street, walk northbound along this street through 5 sets of traffic Lights, this is about a 7minute walk.

On Church Street you will pass the Capuchin Church (St. Michan’s) on your left and then at the main junction with North King Street there is a Londis shop on your right. Continue along Church Street North. You should have a large block of flats on your right. Coleraine House is passed this block of flats on the right. Coleraine House is the granite stoned building on the right hand side with the Red Door. The entrance is through the archway to the right of the red door.

By Car / Motorbike
If you have to come by car or motorbike things are a little more difficult with one way streets and pay and display parking (not required for motorbikes). The easiest access is travel along the North Quays and turn off at the Arran Quay /Four Courts (Junction 22) and drive northbound up Church Street through six sets of lights to just past junction 28. You will pass the Capuchin Church (St. Michan’s) on your left and then a Londis shop on your right at the junction with North King Street.

Nearly all parking around here is pay and display. At this stage you should be on Constitution Hill with the flats on your right and the Hardwick House Apartment block on your left. Stay in the overtaking lane and take the first turn right past the flats (at this stage you’ll see Coleraine House, an old Georgian House with a red Door on your right). Turn right here you should find parking in some of the streets. There are a number of pay and display machines on the streets.

For information on parking and driving conditions visit www.dublincity.ie and www.aaireland.ie or to plan a route go on to www.aaireland.ie/routes/
