Advisory Group

The Safeguard Programme is supported by a multi-disciplinary, cross-sectoral advisory group that includes representatives from:

• Irish Aid
• An Garda Siochana
• Unicef
• Dublin City North Volunteer Centre
• Cork Volunteer Centre
• Trócaire
• Voluntary Services Overseas
• Dtalk
• Comhlámh

The role of the advisory group is to inform the direction and development of the Safeguard Programme during its pilot phase. The advisory group is made up of individuals who bring unique knowledge, skills and expertise in the areas of international development, volunteering, child protection and the protection of vulnerable adults or have a special responsibility in one of these areas
